*Note the 2010 changes to the Choirs Syllabus:
The Friday primary sections change from grade sections to age sections
The 12 years and under section will require all choirs to sing one Welsh piece. If choirs choose to sing it in Welsh, a further $250 Prize is offered by the ACT Welsh Society for the best Welsh pronunciation.
Friday night 13 August from 6pm: Both the 12 years and under championship and 19 years and under championship
Saturday night from 6pm: Both the open popular choirs championship (increased prize money to $2,000) and the open choirs championship (Prize money $8,000)

The timetable/programs should be available approximately 2 weeks before the competition

Important Notice to Entrants in National Operatic Aria Section V001
As stated in the 2010 Australian National Eisteddfod Singing Syllabus, there will be no official accompanist provided for Section V001.

The following accompanists have made themselves available should competitors require their services:

Competitors are responsible for making contact at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the singing competition (6 September 2010). Rehearsal arrangements and payment of fees will be the responsibility of the competitor.
